The 2015 Ligi Ndogo East Africa Cup entered its third and final day on Sunday 30 August.This year’s expanded program  awarded five categories:U9,U11,U13,U15 and U17.

In the Under-17 category, Bernard Ndichu’sImpala edged out Acakoro 1-0 to replace Young Talent as this year’s champion.The two teams had played to a barren draw in the preliminary round.

Winner:Impala Club

Runner Up:Acakoro

Top Scorer: Isaac Ochieng (Ligi Ndogo)

Best Player: Abubakari Ali (Impala Club)

Best goalie: Rodgers Siteti (Juve Soccer Academy)

Ligi Ndogo Planets clinched the U15 title after seeing off Future Hope from Mombasa.

Runner Up:Future Hope

Best Player: Benson Disamba (Ligi Ndogo Planets)

Best goalie: Buxton Mwarome (Future Hope)                 

In the Under-13, Ascend S.C. from Kabete won the championship after a  4-3 post match penalty kicks over Ligi Ndogo.The teams had tied 1-1 in regular time.

Best Player: Ezra Mugamba (Makindye)

Best goalie: Fabish Mukholo (Ligi Ndogo)

Ligi Ndogo Planets sent three teams into the semi finals in most exciting category of the tournament.Ligi Ndogo edged past Uganda’sBall Line 10-9 in a nail biting semi final.

Best Player: Kevin Wangaya (Ligi Ndogo Planets One)

Best goalie: Luteshi Gabriel Fostine (Ligi Ndogo Planet A)

Uganda once again dominated the U9 category beating out hosts Ligi Ndogo
