Chris has partnered with Sven Yida, all the way from Intrepid to the senior team. His football path took a detour and was glossed with a tour of the United Kingdom for the Umbro Cup in 2011 with the Ligi Ndogo U17 team. He briefly featured for a team called Dagenhalm Keo Bridge. He came back in 2012 and played for the U20 team in the Punjab league and provincial league scoring five goals and assisting eight. In 2013,he joined Inter City, played for the whole season and scored five while assisting six.
He joined Ligi Ndogo academy team,Mars,in 2006 at ten.
During the 2013 pre-season, he was invited to the Ligi Ndogo U23 team that played two exhibition matches with the main team. He was immediately noticed by the then head coach Bernad Ndichu after he split the midfield and defense with constant split passes. He memorably singlehandedly led the U23’s to a 2-1 win and got a recall back to the 2014 team that played in the nationwide league.
Chris is one of the most skillful players in the team. A variegated ball player, he started last year as an attacking midfielder but moved to striker under former coach Oliver Page’s attack oriented offense. That knocked his game around as he started the first three matches in the FKF PL league before paving way for another academy graduate Kibet Kilele. He hopes to slowly grind his way back to the starters. He is currently back up at defensive mid and attack.
