  • Remy Mozamil’s name has been so synonymous with greatness in and around Nairobi that it has been hard to separate them.
  • At 10 he travelled to Keele as a member of the Ligi Ndogo team and was top scorer in his category.He was one of the best players and earned a lot of reviews from the scouts.Two years later he travelled back and was invited for several trials at Liverpool and Crystal Palace
  • He attended a two day clinic in Nairobi held by Liverpool legend,Ian Rush and was named the most promising player in his category.The instructors compared him to Glen Johnson,the English international right back.

Joined Ligi Ndogo with the promising class of 2007 .He started as a Junior and was promoted to Mid in 2007.In 2008 he was invited to join the prestigious  Planets,that is,the best players.

Remy has won all the accolades in his category:best player as a Junior and both as a Mid player.He was a member of the Ligi Ndogo team that won the first Brazilian tournament held in Kenya.

He plays from an attacking midfield and winger and attaccking midfielder.He has severally filled in at striker.During his short stay with the junior team,he scored two and assisted in three.He was promptly promoted to the senior team during the second leg of the season.

He broke out in the second leg of the season when he impressed after coming on against FC Talanta on 5th September 2015.He played as a substitute in the next three matches before finally breaking into the starting team.

His first ninety minutes match game came away at Zoo Kericho and at home to Nzoia Sugar.His improved form broke through when he scored a memorable free kick in the 68th minute against the sugar men.

Blessed with good ball retention and dribbling skills,he featured in the team as an attacking midfielder and right wing player.

Deservedly,he was called to the national U18 team in late 2015.Prior to that, he played for the  U15 team, a group of KPL select players who beat Zanzibar’s CHRISC 5-4 on post-match penalties in Moshi,Tanzania in the East Africa Regional Cup 2014 edition.

The much heralded youngster played in training camps in West Ham and Crystal Palace (2011), Belgium with Anderlect (2012), Cali Deportivo in Colombia (2013) and Newcastle (2014) as a member of the Ligi Ndogo Planets.
